Classroom Rules:
1. Be in assigned places at all times.
2. Be polite and respectful to all staff members and substitute teachers.
3. Treat others as you would like to be treated. Name calling or making fun of other students will not be tolerated.
4. Respect classroom property, including textbooks, library books, desks, lockers, and computers.
Lockers / desks should not be marked on, scratched on, or have stickers placed on them.
5. Use respectful and kind language. No foul language.
6. Do not run, scuffle, wrestle, or horse-play in the classroom.
7. Gum chewing is not permitted.
8. Passing / writing notes may result in an after-school detention.
9. Be in seat, book out, supplies ready, when class begins.
10. Hand homework in on time.
Discipline Procedure:
1. Verbal warning
2. Loss of privilege (this usually means recess)
3. Note home & after-school detention
4. Conference w/ student, teacher, parent, principal / superintendent
5. In-school suspension
6. Three after-school detentions will result in an in-school suspension for the next offense
7. Based on severity, some behaviors (fighting, threatening others, extreme disrespect, etc.) may result in immediate after-school detention or in-school suspension.
